For my post, I interviewed Ms. Olienda Ramsarran from Blackshear Elementary. For the video, I used questions from chapters 1-4 to help gain a better understanding from the educator perspective. Of the 25 students in her classroom, she states that her students are sequential bilingual students because in her classroom, her students only learn English. Ms. Ramsarran uses multiple tactics to help all of her students learn, especially her ELL students. Some of these include using charts, reflective journals, manipulatives, and reading activities. Despite, the many methods she uses for her students she states that her students struggle the most with comprehension.
